Is the hotel’s environment kid friendly?

There’s nothing more we love than to cater guests from all ages. However, the hotel is filled with artwork installations, hydroponic system, and materials that require prudence. As such, Greenhost is most suitable for adults.

 

How many people are allowed to stay in the room?

All of our rooms are specifically design to accommodate two adults only. Children under 12 years old with maximum 2 children per room are allowed. Any additional guest must occupy another room.

 

Is there any charge if more than 2 adults stay in a room?

We strongly do not recommend having more than two in a room as it will result to additional 50% charge of your current room rate as a penalty. This penalty does not cover additional request for towels.

 

Can I use high-energy wattage appliances such as hairdryers?

Since we are committed to minimize our ecological impact, the electrical capacity in each room is set at 6 Amps. Electronic device that requires more than 400 watts, will trip the power in the room (if not the entire block). We thank you for your support towards our commitment.

 

Do you provide energy saving hairdryers?

Yes, energy saving hairdryers are available, so is ironing board. Please contact our front office for assistance.

 

Is smoking in the room allowed?

We have a strict no smoking policy in the rooms, corridors, and green area (rooftop). Smoking in these areas will incur to 50% of your current room rate as penalty. You are welcome to smoke at the lobby or our Art Kitchen Resto.

 

Do you have swimming pool for kids?

No we do not. Our swimming pool is 5x15m in size and 1.3m deep. Children who wish to swim must be with adult supervision at all times. Swimming pool operational hour is from 06.00 AM to 08.00 PM.

 

How do I make a reservation for the rooftop café?

The rooftop café, Agenda Resto & Vibes, is one of our tenants. As we are under different management, please contact Agenda directly for reservation.

Is parking facility available?

Yes we do have a parking facility for cars and motorbikes. Due to the limited space, our security team will help with valet service for guests with overnight car.

 

How about parking facility for bus?

Unfortunately, due to the narrow street and our limited parking space don’t give much space for big bus to enter the street. Small & midi bus can still enter for drop off only, while overnight bus will have to park in a different area. As such, it is important to coordinate with our team prior arrival when bus is involved. Please contact our Reservation staff for further assistance.

 

What time is check-in and check out?

The check-in time is 2.00 pm and check out time is 12.00 pm. Early check in and late check in is possible with additional charge and provided we are not running in full capacity.

 

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check out?

Yes. You can leave it at the front desk and our staff will give you a tag for collection when you’re ready.

 

Can children stay unaccompanied in Greenhost?

Unfortunately they cannot.

 

Is Greenhost pet friendly?

As much as we love animals, our property is pet-free zone.

 

Do you offer refunds?

Our refund policy is only applicable when requested 7 days before staying date.

 

is there money-changer onsite?

There is no money-changer onsite. However, there is one nearby, less than 200 meter from Greenhost. Our front office staff can help you with the direction.

 

How about ATM, is there any onsite?

No there isn’t. The nearest ATM is only 100 meter away. Please seek direction from our front office staff.

 

How do I make a reservation for the rooftop café?

The rooftop café, Agenda Resto & Vibes, is one of our tenants. As we are under different management, please contact Agenda directly for reservation.

 

Do you have a fitness area?

Yes we do have a moderate fitness facility located behind the Tea Spa on the ground floor.

 

Is there Internet access in the Hotel?

Yes, wifi access is complimentary to guests in all rooms and public area of the hotel.

 

Can I use the swimming pool even if I am not staying in Greenhost?

Yes absolutely. Non-staying guests are welcome to use our swimming pool at the admission fee of IDR 100K, inclusive pool towel, refreshments, and safe deposit box for your valuables.

What type of rooms that available in Greenhost?

All of our rooms are Artist Designed Room, with seven design options. Our room size is equal, 20m2, equipped with eco-friendly interior and furniture.

 

Do you offer room for disabled?

Yes we have a room suitable for guest with disabilities.

 

Do you provide extra beds?

Because of the room capacity and the carefully designed interior, Greenhost does not offer extra bed policy.

 

Do you have connecting rooms?

There is no connecting room at Greenhost.

 

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?

No, we do not.

 

Can I choose which artist designed room I’d like to stay in?

Both ours and other online travel agent booking engine systems are set to automatically choose the room for you. Should you like to request a specific room, do leave us a message to [email protected]. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Yes, our Art Kitchen Resto is ready to serve you 24 hours for room service.

 

Can I order room service from the rooftop café?

Since we are under a different management, room service from our tenant, Agenda Resto & Vibes, is not allowed. 

How do I get to Greenhost Hotel?

You can see the direction in our maps here. Please note that due to nearby traditional market activity, Jalan Prawirotaman II/Gerilya is only accessible one-way from 05.00 AM to 11.00 AM daily. Please enter via Jalan Sisingamangaraja should you to arrive within said time.

 

Do you offer airport transfer service?

Yes we do have an airport transfer service for IDR 151,000/one way (for max. 3 people). Please contact our front office to further assistance. Transfer to train station is also available at IDR 121,000/one way for max of 3 people.

 

Are there any shopping areas near the hotel?

Yes, our hotel is close by to Malioboro, the central attraction area in Yogyakarta where lots of shops and creative street vendors offering souvenirs are available. To make it even more interesting, we have Becak Tour De City that can bring you to explore interesting places in Jogja by riding Becak, our traditional means of transportation. Is there any convenient store near the hotel?

Yes, there are several convenient stores nearby in less than 400 meters from Greenhost. Our front office staff can help you with the direction. 

Is there an F&B outlet in the Hotel?

Yes, our restaurant, Art Kitchen, is a farm-to-table dining space. It serves seasonal home-cooked meal, artfully combing the best local-sourced ingredients with the delicate richness of Indonesian traditional food and cooking methods. Opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This January, to celebrate The Fire Rooster Year, we have Chinese New Year Special Menu starting from IDR 175,000 for 2 person. Can I have breakfast/lunch/dinner even if I am not staying in Greenhost?

Yes, of course you can enjoy a good meal or two with drinks at our Art Kitchen Resto.

 

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurant?

Yes, a selection of vegetarian and vegan dish is available at our Art Kitchen Resto.

 

Can I book Art Kitchen for an event?

Absolutely. We offer packages for birthday party, bridal shower or any special event You can download the package list here. Please contact [email protected] for reservation and enquiries. 

There is a rooftop garden at Greenhost. Is it open for public?

The rooftop garden is our green area called Creative Farming, and it is only open for our in-guests. However, we welcome any group who would like to visit for study purpose. Do you sell the yields from the rooftop Garden?

The yields from our Creative Farming are cultivated/harvested to support Art Kitchen necessity. You can enjoy the Art Kitchen menu from our Creative Farming yields. However, if you wish to buy the yields for yourself, kindly contact our front office for available stock.  

 

The rooftop garden use the hydroponic system, can I learn about it?

Of course, we do have a Hydroponic 101 session that is available for all check-in guest at IDR xxx. Please notify the front office should you’re interested to join.

There is this area in Greenhost lobby level that showcase artwork from time to time. Is it open for public?

Yes, the area is called Green Art Space and it is open for public. It is located in between our tenants, Tea Spa & Genetika Concept Store, and alongside our restaurant, Art Kitchen. Green Art Space displays creative contemporary artwork from up and rising local artists. The area is highly popular as photo objects while guests enjoying a drink or two at Art Kitchen Resto.

 

Can I buy the showcased artwork?

Yes, most of the showcased artworks are for sale, including the ones in our rooms. Please be mindful when you are near the artwork. Breaking or causing damage to the artwork will lead to purchase.

 

I am a local artist. Can I showcase my work in Green Art Space?

Sure. Here at Greenhost we embrace up and coming local artists and their creativity. So long as we share the same philosophy, we are more than happy to partner with you. Please contact [email protected] for further assistance.
